Is it heavy to handle?
No. Tawaana has a super lightweight iron body with a smooth PFOA-free granite-finish non-stick coating, so you get even heat without the weight of old iron tawas. Easy to lift, flip and carry to the table.
Do I need to season it?
No. Raw iron needs oiling and seasoning to stop rust and sticking. Our coating takes care of that, so you just cook, wash and dry.
Which stoves does it work on?
Gas and electric stoves. Every piece is dishwasher safe, though a quick hand wash keeps the coating and wooden handle newer for longer.
How does cash on delivery work?
Place your order, our team calls to confirm, and you pay cash when it arrives. There is no COD fee. Delivery is free on orders of Rs 4,000 or more, otherwise a flat Rs 250.
What does the 1-year warranty cover?
Coating peeling or flaking, cracks, warping and manufacturing defects for one year from delivery. Send us a photo or video and we send a brand-new replacement.
